1/3/2016

10/27-12/31/2015

We are still at home taking care of business, enjoying Christmas and the other Holidays. In the meantime, we are working on plans for this summer which we are already 2 months into. We are going to stay home until June 1, help Tyler celebrate graduating from High School and host part of Barb's family while here from Minnesota for Tyler's big event.

November was a pretty laid-back month.  We did Dr appointments, lunch with friends, 3 concerts, a day at the races in New Smyrna Speedway, Thanksgiving with the family & a car show with all the 2016 cars on display.  Tyler went along and had a blast sitting in all the cool cars.  Barb had another birthday too, this time around the sun meant changes in her situation with health care and big decisions with picking the right plan.  She did a lot of reading and discussing things and has made a good decision.  Our primary care doctor even sent a woman to the house to help us...nice.

December brought Christmas shopping, 4 concerts, another car show, 2 rocket launches, Christmas parties, working on the motor home making some repairs, and planning for the 2016 trip. The planning is 1/2 of the fun. We also went to 2 funerals of friends from the Fire Dept. days...we are getting to that age.  Then it was Christmas and all that goes with that.  The kids are 16 & 18 so that whole deal is quite different than it used to be.  New Years will be quiet this year, staying home.

As we move into 2016, our thoughts are on this summer's trip, getting a couple of projects done around the house and getting ready to be away for 6 months, or so.  It is nice not having a scheduled day to be back.  We are planning a trip out through Texas and then to California and back home via St Louis.  We have a lot of interesting places to see that are already on our schedule.  Stay tuned.
