From San Rafael, we went east to Exit 182 toward Moab, first up was a right on SR 313 to Canyonlands National Park. What an amazing place. We drove to the Grand View Point and back to the entrance. The Senior Access Card sure comes in handy...free to enter all of the National Parks ...nice. The National Parks are almost empty too this time of year...there is actually parking available at the turnouts, something that we are sure is different through the summer months.
