Today is moving day again.  We are on our way to Nahalem Bay, Oregon after a while for 5 days...touring the Oregon coast.  Never seen that and everybody tells us we are in for a treat.  Hope the weather holds.

Yesterday, I fixed the headlight on the car and some other minor adjustments to get ready to move.  Then we drove to Bremerton from our campsite.  This is an interesting spot, lots of Seattle folks have cabins along Hood's Canal, houses that have been there for a lot of years.  Real estate that is worth a fortune is sitting there probably vacant most of the year, packed in about 10' apart along the way.  Bremerton is a Navy town and is where the Pacific fleet goes for refurbishing and is also a graveyard for decommissioned ships.  But it is a pretty town, a ferry ride away from downtown Seattle.  We put the car in line for the ferry and went walking along the waterfront.  It was a beautiful afternoon, perfect day for a stroll.

Then our boat arrived and we watched the unloading and then put the car on the boat.  Perfect weather gives one a great chance to take pictures :).  Once in Seattle, we joined the commuters on I-90 east to Bellevue and a birthday celebration for our niece and dinner with my sister Ann's family.  We had a real nice dinner (thank you Clint) and then cake & ice cream before heading back to the camper.  We got off I-5 long enough to stop in Olympia for some night shots of the Washington Capitol building...pretty at night.

It is very foggy this morning...visibility is about 50'. Glad we made this happen yesterday.  The other side of the Canal is not visible, nor would be most of the stuff in these pictures. Timing is everything!!
