Moving day, again.  We have a 228 mile drive to Anchorage.  We have driven this road before, so we know what to expect.  Homer is such a pretty place, we hate to leave.  But we must move on.  We made several stops along the way, and pass through Anchor Point just out of Homer.  Anchor Point is the furthermost western town in North America accessible by car.  So we have been in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island,Florida (Miami) & now Anchor Point in the last 12 months...pretty amazing how spread out that is.

We stopped in Soldotna and bought some chain saw art (a moose & a bear), souvenirs from Alaska.  We almost hit a large moose in Cooper Landing and stopped at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center too. There was a lot of animals there, though in cages...not like seeing them in the wild.

We arrived in Anchorage later than most, but we had enjoyed our day together.  We set up camp and we ended up with 12 couples in our camp having a fun time telling stories until about 9 pm...Chance & Terry stayed for dinner, brats & hot dogs...fun evening. Another day tomorrow...
