7/2/14

We got up early so we could be at a RV Repair place when they opened.  The first place we went to was still closed until 830 so we went to the next place.  They were open, so we described our situation to the lady in charge.  She told us the ammonia smell was the cooling system completely failing and it was probably going to cost just a little more to replace the whole thing.  She looked up what the replacement was, since ours 14 y/o unit was long out of production.  Then checking around, she reported there were none in Whitehorse and Alaska was then the closest.  So we went back to the camper and started checking in Anchorage.  I sent 4 emails to the 4 dealers I could find contact info...so we wait to see if any respond.

We then took a bus tour of Whitehorse...pretty town on the Yukon River.  The bus is a hard way to actually explore so we used the time to see where everything is and then took the car out on our own. Much better!
